The Maynard Ferguson Tribute band was formed in October of 2006 to perform a tribute to Maynard and his music to raise money for a music scholarship in his name. There is so much love for Maynard and his music that putting it on a shelf somewhere just did not seem like the right thing to do.

The band is made up of musicians that not only love the high energy music of Maynard Ferguson, but also have respect and admiration for Maynard the man.

We try to recreate the music in the original style and energy of Maynard and his band in every performance.

There is no replacement for Maynard Ferguson. He was a one of a kind trumpet player, musician, and band leader. Keeping his memory alive by performing his music is our way of paying tribute to the memory of this legend in music.
